What is your understanding of youth, creativity, cultural heritage and their relationships? What can you do for the development of creative industry and heritage protection?

青年是创意的生产者，是遗产的保护者。正如梁启超先生所说的那样，少年强则国强，在如今这个信息化的社会里，把“中国制造”变为“中国智造”已经成为中国青年奋斗的目标。只有青年发挥创意，结合自己的专业知识实现科技创新，文化创新，才能真正推动中国的创新事业。
而在创新的同时，我们也不能忘记老祖宗留给我们的东西。如日夜交替而产生的朝霞，晚霞一样，新旧的交融总是迷人的。比如浏阳通过音乐巡演，推出了一系列富含湖湘特色又充满创意的商品。 在购买这些充满湖湘特色的纪念品的同时，大众也能从其获取文化遗产的魅力。这就是新与旧，创意与遗产的融合。
作为青年，与其一成不变的在实体上维修，保护物质，文化遗产，我们也应用自己的创意，更好的宣传，传播我们优秀的物质，文化遗产，用更多的媒介，更多元化的方式让更多的人接触，了解并喜爱它们。而作为英语专业的学生，我们也应该更好地做好文化间的“桥梁”，为创意和遗产尽到自己的一份力。
Young people are producers of innovation and protectors of heritage. As Mr. Liang Qichao said, Strong youth entails strong country! Now we are in an information age, and to turn "Made in China" into "Created by China " has become the goal of Chinese young people. Only when young people develop their capabilities in creativity and combine it with their own professional knowledge can we achieve technological and cultural innovation and then truly promote China's innovation.
Meanwhile, we must inherit what our ancestors left to us. The blending of old and new things is always fascinating. For example, Liu Yang has launched a series of products which contains Hunan's characteristics and at the meantime full of creativity during its concert tour. While purchasing these souvenirs, citizens can obtain the charm of Hunan's cultural heritage. This is the real fusion of new and old things, creativity and heritage.
As a youngster, we should use more communication and media channels to introduce our excellent material and cultural heritage to the whole world, which can let more people feel, understand and love them. As a student majored in English, we should also try our best to serve as a “bridge” between diverse cultures and devote ourselves in innovation and heritage protection.

未来我可能会往翻译方向发展，而经由这次论坛我意识到，翻译首先要把国内的优秀的遗产保护的一些科技措施以及方法，还有创意产业的一些成果带到国外去，让更多的人了解并且喜爱上我们的中国传统文化。还可以帮助世界上其他面临遗产保护技术难题的一些地区和国家,这样或许能让我们的下一代见识到更多世界物质和文化遗产.
与此同时，翻译还要把国外的一些先进的科技技术运用起来，比如说如何保护传统文化，或者是如何的更好的来保存一些珍贵的特殊质地的文物。因为遗产非常的宝贵，且相对比较脆弱，一点点的内部或者外部的影响，都会对他造成损伤。多一些保护的科技和方法就能避免很多令人惋惜的损伤。
I want to become a translator or interpreter after graduation. And through this forum, I realized that for a translator or interpreter, first of all, he should introduce our scientific measures of heritage protection or achievements of creative industries to foreign countries. Therefore, more foreigners can have access to know and even fall in love with our traditional culture. What's more, this kind of technologies can help other regions and countries who have difficulties in protecting heritage. With these efforts, our next generation may have opportunities to witness more world material and cultural heritages in the future.
At the same time, a translator or interpreter should also bring in advanced technology from other countries. For example, Technologies about how to protect traditional culture, or how to preserve some special and precious cultural relics in a better way. Because some valuable relics are relatively fragile, even a little internal or external impact will cause damage to them. With more specified technologies, we can do our best to avoid those pitiful damages.

我认为青年是社会进步与发展的生力军，而文化又是一个社会存在的背景和根基。青年欲立于社会需要的是对文化的传承，对优秀遗产的认同与接受;青年要成于社会需要推动文化和社会的发展，而推动发展需要的就是创意创新，对传统文化的扬弃。
而我作为一个英语专业的学生，也许意味着我有更多机会或者说更应该将优秀中国的文化用英语的途径传播向全世界，同时把优秀的外国文化引入中国，以促进世界文化交流为旨愿，能够做出一点微小的贡献也就很满足了!
I believe that youth is a new and dynamic force in social progress, while culture is the background and foundation of social existence. To be a successful youth who promote the development of culture and society, there are two stages: the first stage is to inherit the essence of traditional culture; the second stage is to take the essence and to discard the dregs with creative minds.
As a student majored in English, to some extent I have more opportunities to spread our excellent culture to the world in English, and introduce excellent foreign culture into China. Though the contribution I can make for the world culture exchange is small, I am willing to and with great pleasure to devote myself!

青年是有活力的团体，然后他们是创业的主力军。青年人可以带动遗产的发扬光大，使历史久远的遗产不会消失，通过遗产来宣传自己国家的文化和历史。最近在参加一个创业比赛，这也是我和创意的缘分吧。我觉得青年人有很多奇思妙想，而且能把自己的想法跟产业结合，把自己的想法做成输出的产品。青年人是创业的未来，我非常尊重我们国家的文化与遗产，比如说这次论坛上有面塑，还有丝绸湘绣等，我很为我们自己国家的文化遗产而自豪。
In my opinion, Youth are a group of vigorous people, and they are the main force of starting up new business. Young people can preserve long-established heritage and introduce his domestic culture and history through heritage. Recently, I participated in an entrepreneurial competition, and there I exerted my creative mind again. From that competition, I found that young people actually have a lot of whimsy and can combine their ideas with the industry to turn the ideas to real products. In this way, young people, to some extent, represent the future of entrepreneurship. I respect and appreciate our culture and heritage very much. And I learnd a lot from that. For example, in this forum, I learned what is dough modeling and Xiang embroidery. I am really proud of the our Chinese cultural heritage.
