Chinese President Xi Jinping, mentioning UNESCO Beijing's International Youth Forum (IYF) on Creativity and Heritage at the Opening Ceremony of the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.

　　年轻人拥有改变自身、改变社会和改变世界的创造力、潜力和能力，联合国教科文组织与年轻人共同努力，致力于赋权年轻人，帮助他们推动社会革新、充分参与社会发展、消除贫困和不平等，以及培养和平文化。

　　在中国，联合国教科文组织驻华代表处在积极探索如何在可持续发展上激励中国年轻人并与其共同努力。在2017年、2018年和2019年，联合国教科文组织驻华代表处与中国联合国教科文组织全国委员会共同组织了第一届、第二届和第三届“一带一路”青年创意与遗产论坛，在论坛上，来自中国和丝绸之路沿线其它国家的青年代表们共同讨论了他们如何保护共同的世界遗产和推动创意产业。

Young people have the creativity, the potential and the capacity to make change happen – for themselves, for their societies, and for the rest of the world. UNESCO’s work with and for youth is committed to empowering young people and helping them to work together to drive social innovation and change, participate fully in the development of their societies, eradicate poverty and inequality, and foster a culture of peace.

In China, UNESCO Beijing is exploring ways to motivate and work with the youth in China on sustainable development. In 2017, 2018 and 2019, UNESCO Beijing and theChinese National Commission for UNESCO co-organized the first, the second and the third International Youth Forum (IYF) on Creativity and Heritage along the Silk Roads, in which youth delegates from China and countries along the Silk Roads discussed their involvement in protecting common heritage and promoting creativity industries.
