The "One Word, One World · China and Africa Share This Feeling" Guitang River International Chinese Character Art Carnival kicked off in Changsha on May 24. It features 20 themed workshops showcasing traditional crafts such as oracle bone rubbing, movable-type printing and ancient papermaking.
Concurrent events include a China-Africa cultural and creative market and youth Chinese character art exhibition. Cultural envoys, international students and artists from multiple African nations gathered by the river. Bonded by Chinese characters, they enjoyed a grand cultural exchange integrating cross-border communication, school-local collaboration and museum-school joint development.
