A ceremony marking the opening of the Rwanda's Country Pavilion online was held in Loudi, Hunan, on July 10.
James Kimonyo, Rwandan ambassador to China, and Zeng Chaoqun, secretary of the CPC Loudi Municipal Committee, unveiled the nameplate of the pavilion together.
Guo Ning, deputy director of the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province, and Xie Junyi, standing committee member and secretary general of the CPC Loudi Municipal Committee, were present. Loudi Vice Mayor Yang Wei chaired the ceremony.

In recent years, the Loudi authority has fully carried out the arrangement and deployment of the provincial Party committee and provincial government on "rolling out a long-term mechanism for pairing-up communication of Hunan's cities and prefecture with African countries." The city has vigorously advanced economic and trade contact, and technological exchanges with Rwanda, attracting the Legend Africa Group to settle and set up the Rwanda's Country Pavilion online.
The pavilion will comprehensively showcase Rwanda's unique cultural charm, abundant natural resources, and dynamic economic growth while presenting the achievements of China-Rwanda friendly exchanges as well as Rwanda and Loudi's specialty products. It will facilitate Loudi people's understanding of Rwanda, enhancing cultural exchanges between the two regions.
