The wildcat "Miaomiao" that has been cute for ages has arrived in Changsha! Recently, the themed space of "Cultural and Creative Flash Mob of Hunan Museum —— The Wonderful Journey of the Wildcat Miaomiao in Changsha" made its debut in Changsha. The wildcat from the Western Han Dynasty has transformed into "Miaomiao" with round eyes and upturned whiskers, leaping into the modern city and presenting itself in the forms of cultural and creative ice cream, digital interactive experiences, and trendy blind boxes to meet the public.

The IP of the wildcat "Miaomiao" originates from the wildcat pattern on the lacquerware of the Mawangdui Han Tombs. This is one of the earlier image materials of the cat genus in China, and its appearance on tableware may be related to warning other animals against stealing food. The ancient Chinese have a long history of loving cats. After various domestic cats were introduced to China via trade routes, they were gradually domesticated, evolving from simple rat-catching tools to elements integrated into the aesthetics of daily life and eventually becoming auspicious symbols. The wildcat "Miaomiao" is a cultural and creative brand jointly created by the Hunan Museum and an enterprise. The design combines a sense of history and fashion, and through the flash mob activity, it can spread culture and bring cultural relics into people's daily lives.
