On September 25, the Third Changsha Tourism Development Conference kicked off, ushering in a new chapter for the city's tourism and cultural industry. In the first half of this year, Changsha received a total of 90,613,902 tourists from home and abroad, a year-on-year increase of 15.99%, and achieved a total tourism revenue of 101.955 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 18.71%. Both passenger flow and total revenue achieved double-digit growth.
In recent years, Changsha has been rated as one of the "Top 10 Tourist Cities for a Better Life in China", "The top city that post-2000s people most want to go to" and "2024 Global 100 Destinations".
