The art exhibition is guided by the Hunan Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Communist Youth League of Hunan Province, and the Changsha Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and is sponsored by the Hunan Youth Artists Association. It received enthusiastic responses from young artists in Hunan Province. During the curatorial period, more than 300 works were received for review, covering many categories such as traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, watercolor, printmaking, sculpture, and mixed media. After strict review by the jury, 91 works were selected for exhibition, and 6 works were invited. In total, 97 works were exhibited. The works are rich in subject matter, diverse in style, and novel in meaning. They reflect contemporary young artists' understanding of the times, capture new social trends, and reflect on and explore the development of art. They showcase the in-depth exploration and latest achievements of contemporary young artists in Hunan Province in terms of artistic creation and academic innovation under the new era and new concepts.
(The exhibition further expands cultural exchange channels and deepens the friendship among young artists across the province, bringing a cultural feast to the citizens of Changsha. The above photos are provided by correspondent Qiu Haiyan.)
