Enghien-les-Bains kicks off the 8th edition of the Latin Americ and Carrabien Week with the documentary “Francia al ritmo de Cuba”

On the occasion of the 8th edition of the Latin American and Caribbean Week (SALC), the Centre des arts of Enghien-les-Bains (France), a UNESCO Creative City of Media Arts, presented a documentary entitled "Francia al ritmo de Cuba". 

Produced in collaboration with the Cuban Institute of Music and the Cuban Ministry of Culture, the documentary aims to pay tribute to the many Cuban artists while also highlighting the central role of media arts in education, tourism, economy and its cultural and artistic development, wh

Santiago Alfonso, Ivette Cepeda, Alejandro Falcon and Luna Manzanares, for example, recount their experiences, highlighting the prosperity of Franco-Cuban cultural relations.

Between interviews and excerpts of artistic performances, this short documentary is part of the Centre des arts’ commitment to promote innovative Cuban music in France. This place of contemporary creation acts as a platform for Cuban artists who, through co-productions, discographic productions and artistic accompaniments, extend their talent and value the diversity of cultural expressions.
