Bring Together Youth’s Creativity and Promote Urban Development: C+C Global Youth Innovation Partnership Plan Roadshow Held in Changsha

  In the afternoon of May 20th, C + C Global Youth Innovation Partnership Plan Roadshow was held in Yuxiang Cotton Mill.

 

  From 2017 to 2019, Changsha held International Youth Forum on Creativity and Heritage along the Silk Roads (IYF) for three times.

 

  Chen Gang, Standing member of Changsha Municipal Committee and Director-General of Publicity Department, and other officials awarded the Changsha Media Arts Education Practice Base to the representatives from universities.

 

  

  Changsha City of Media Arts Partners Initiative was launched in the roadshow.

 

  

The representative of young entrepreneurs shared her experiences.

 

  On May 20, C + C Global Youth Innovation Partnership Plan Roadshow hosted by Publicity Department of Changsha Municipal Committee and organized by Media Arts Center of Changsha was held at Yuxiang Cotton Mill, an industrial and cultural heritage with long history. Chen Gang, Standing member of Changsha Municipal Committee and Director-General of Publicity Department, attended the roadshow and delivered a speech.

 

  On November 1, 2017, Changsha successfully joined UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) and became the first City of Media Arts in China. From 2017 to 2019, Changsha held International Youth Forum on Creativity and Heritage along the Silk Roads (IYF) for three times, attracting 280 global youth from 111 countries to the city. Now, IYF has become a shining feature of Changsha.

 

 

  According to the on-site reporters of changsha.cn, C + C Global Youth Innovation Partnership Plan will highlight CREATIVITY and CULTURE. Five major measures: IYF, youth residency program, media arts industrial investment fund, media arts festival activities, and development of Malanshan Media Arts Cluster, will build a platform of communication and mutual learning for global youth, helping young people make contributions in the field of creativity and heritage protection.

 

  Chen Gang pointed out that the implementation of the C + C Global Youth Innovation Partnership Plan can provide a stage for global youth in innovation and entrepreneurship, build a platform for the cooperation between government, enterprises and universities, and bring benefits for high-quality urban development. He hopes more government departments support the plan, more universities and enterprises participate in the cooperation, and more outstanding innovative and creative young people from all over the world be attracted. In this way, C + C Global Youth Innovation Partnership Plan will become a "new engine" for global young people to passionately participated in the Belt and Road initiative, become a "treasure bowl" that brings together the innovative and creative power of global youth, and become a "catalyst" for promoting urban development and prosperity.
