2019 Semibreve Festival will be held in Braga, UCCN City of Media Arts in Portugal, from 25th, Oct. to 27th, Oct. Integrated in the renowned Semibreve Festival, a new edition of the Semibreve Award is now collecting entries.
Semibreve Festival has built a formidable reputation for being one of the most exciting annual events on the international exploratory music and digital arts calendar.
Semibreve award, sponsored by Edigma, a Portuguese company leader in the development of interactive experiences, multi-touch technology and digital signage projects, was established to celebrate and promote the creation of works that explore the interactivity, sound and image supported through the use of digital technologies.
The submission of entries is open to all works exploring the relation between art and technology, presented in the form of installation. The application period ends on June 30th, 2019 at 23:59 GMT. The application form and rules are available at www.festivalsemibreve.com/en/award
PRIZE:
The Semibreve Award winner will be granted 2,500€ (two thousand five hundred euros), travel and transport of material expenses to and from the Semibreve Festival (Braga) up to 500€ (five hundred euros) plus lodging during the stay (half board), all supported by the award sponsor Edigma.
The submitted works with honorable mentions can be presented during the festival.
