President Xi: Future Sessions of International Youth Forum along the Silk Roads will be organized

On April 26th, President Xi Jinping mentioned in the keynote speech addressed at the opening of the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation that China will continue to run the Chinese government scholarship Silk Road Program, host the International Youth Forum on Creativity and Heritage along the Silk Roads and the “Chinese Bridge”"summer camps for young students.

Changsha, the capital city of Hunan province, has held International Youth Forum on creativity and heritage along the silk roads (IYF for short) for three consecutive years. During the third IYF in 2019, youth participants initiated and set up the action-oriented outcome document Changsha Initiative. On April 23rd, Changsha Initiative was released by UNESCO, and got published in Chinese and English language on UNESCO SILK ROADS website
