African Friends Exploring "Hunan Taste" in Yuhua District’s Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum

On May 1st, 2018, Gambian Ministry of Information officials and mainstream media seminar participants visited Hunan Yuhua District’s Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum. Diverse traditional handicrafts such as bamboo weaving products, lifelike root carvings, elegant Liling porcelain and other diverse traditional handicrafts and skills of traditional craftspeople impressed African friends.

Seminar participants visited the representative venues of Jiangnan Mill, Jinhuang Porcelain Art, Needlecraft Association, Mango Uncle Art Workshop, and Baoqing Porcelain Engraving, and conducted in-depth discussions and opinion exchanges. After the visit, the participants said that the Hunan Yuhua District’s Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum showed the charm of Hunan intangible cultural heritage culture and the visit greatly enriched China-Africa exchanges.
